Anyway Dave said Healey lost control of the car at the top end and skidded off the track. Back then there were no guardrails so the car skipped into the grass and dirt and then began to cartwheel over and over again. Dave stated that it was as high as the telephone poles when it flipped over. He noted the driver walked away with just a small cut on his finger. Mr. Ley added that the car was relatively new and had only been out a few times prior to the accident.

When did they get rid of that tube? I thought I remembered it in the early 80s being used in my high school days. I used to go there with the Suttons and there 6 cyl. camaro when I was little. Any pics of them?

Looks like the Bikes are Staged on the Rear tires. The Tree looks alot closer back then too.
