Hi all - I've been a big drag racing fan for many years and now wish to participate and I need some direction. I also want to get my son involved. I have been looking on sites for used rollers. Should I purchase a used chassis car and install a mild motor for learning purposes? I figure I can always upgrade the motor as I get comfortable and still use the same chassis. Does that sound logical? Thanks.

Kinda vague,How fast do want to go? Stock frame or chassis car square or round tube, street / strip, bracket ,index, heads up,grudge ,small tire, fat tire. So many variables out there to chose from. How much mechanical experience ?
