Photos by Jim (Track Photographer) album

Just got in from a very long weekend.. I had planned on being up in Albany for quite a while, and I was excited to see a 1320X event getting scheduled up at Lebanon Valley Dragway on the same weekend I was in town.. I had the privilege of checking out qualifying day action on this exciting race series. (sorry no eliminations pics, I had prior plans I could not get around)

Racer turnout was impressive. I didn't hear many complaints about track prep and I know the Pritchett brothers had the track crew on point for days before the race rolled in to town. We did have two brief rain delays in the early afternoon which held up the racing but qualifying was still done before 5PM so the setback wasn't the end of the world.

My opinions of the event.. lots of die hard race fans, american muscle, burnouts, wheelstands, rock and roll.. you name it. Definitely an awesome event to check out for some good old fashioned drag racing. I had a blast, everyone was down to earth and just good people all around

Thank you to Adam and Nate for giving us the opportunity to get ont the starting line and grab pics !! Also thanks Nate for the quad hookup so I didn't have to walk my fat ass down to the shutdown area for some chute pics :) Also the rest of the staff at Pullin TV, LVD, Sue Bell, and Jim the track photographer (and your wife) - great to meet you too.

Enjoy the photos everyone and as always criticism and comments are welcome

No prob man .. hopefully I can make the MIR race. You guys are a down to earth, class act, and I love being around people just out to have a good time and get some racing going.

I was fooling around with a rental wide angle for most of the day .. it wasn't bad but I wasn't used to it. :nopity: luckily most of the photos came out good enough to at least post up but nothing to write home about

 Great Shots from some great racing! I hope everyone had a great time this past weekend at Lebanon Valley. It was great to meet everyone and to witness some great racing. Thanks to everyone who attended. For anyone who didn't stay around for Sunday- the weather gods were with us and as we completed the final race and awards, some drops fell from the sky- talk about timing.

oh I have my own wide angle. Wider than the rental I had, I just hate the one I have. Not sharp enough, not fast enough for night time, generally just sucks :) About to replace it. Gotta love rental lenses though, try before you spend a lot of money. Thanks though, man, we should definitely take a ride to the next 1320 down at MIR
