 Post subject: Oil squarting from engine block SBC 350

I was running my SBC 350 and noticed oil spraying out from the hole at the bottom of the engine.Anyone else have this problem?Pic below shows what hole is spraying oil.When i press the gas it sprays

Just put a SHORT bolt in it to plug it. The fuel pump pushrod is behind it. If your not running a mech. fuel pump you can put anything in it.

Thanks I put a really short bolt in there with thread sealant,then the fuel pump went bad :\

if the bolt is 2 long it will bind the fuel pump rod against the block

Well i took the old fuel pump off and i moved the rod up and down with my fingers so its fine,put a new pump in and it works great.
