ok, BY MISTAKE i put hydraulic flat lifters in my 306 on a cam that specifies 'mechanical flat' lifters.. luckily i caught this before even firing the motor, after looking up the part number on the lifter box, which told me they are hydraulic.. but my question is, what would happen? i'm trying to track down a set of the correct lifters, but i was just wondering what would happen if i were to run it the way it sits now..
