hood wont open
my beater truck the hood release isnt working anymore. I tried pulling on the cable by hand and all it did was pull out further. I need to change oil and plugs but cant get the damn hood open. Any ideas b4 I brake out the crowbar?

is there anywhere in the grill part where you can stick a screw driver in there to try and pop it loose?I had to do that with my 88 s-10
