Anyone messed with literally turning off the alternator via toggle switch during a pass to increase power ??
I'm looking for freebie mods that I heard work, this seems feasible.
If you have done this, and you were successful, please explain which wire needs tapped into to do it.
TIA
Mike

Re: Alternator cut off toggle ??
You gotta think about your ignition system,if you cut the alternator off is it gonna get a strong 12 volts? You might get little more HP but at the same time the voltage isnt gonna be as strong as with the alternator hooked up so your spark might not be as strong as it was before.
