Drag radial tire psi

I have a 78 Malibu with Hoosier dot drag radial I was wondering do run higher psi or lower psi the slicks Im running 12 right now and how much of a burn out do I need I did mine till I start to see smoke the pull out but I was at Atco Friday and could hook at all I spun all three runs I'm also running a 454 th400 and ford 9in with 411 gears stock rear susp exept poly bushings and moroso trick spring front and rear

I have found that 16-18psi works best for me, and at ATCO I need to do a longer burnout or I will spin (like a 5 count).
