I was asked a Question about entry fee. This race is $85.00 to run for $1200. to win. 75/80 Website shows a $50.00 entry fee for $500.00 to win under class rules. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Qualifying has been bumped up to start at 4:00 PM on Saturday for all classes. They will be running several Index and heads up classes as well. Hope this helps everyone figure out departure times,etc.

Matt, i posted on nashootout about the earlier time, if i get there in time for the last qualifier and i go 9.9X, will i still be in the show or not?

It's a All Run field, so no problems. I was just informed on Monday, or would have posted this sooner. I do understand that they wanted the 2 hour earlier start to insure the race gets completed.

It seems Mark and Lee are coming, anyone else? I hope this opens the door for some better pay Index races next year at all tracks. If tracks see that 20 plus cars are possible with a descent payout, maybe everyone can benefit.

I am waiting to here back from the track to confirm when a cancellation would be given if the current weather continues and no chance of a good race arises. I know how far many of you would have to travel, and the fuel it will cost, so hang tight and I will update you with info as it comes in. This is unfortunate for many reasons, but my biggest disappointment will be not having a chance to show how good a race can take place with a descent payout. I'll post as soon as I know more.

Just received word that the 10.00 portion of the race has been canceled for Saturday. I will credit back all credit cards tomorrow for your deposits. They agreed to call it early with the number of racers that would have to leave early tomorrow morning.Hope this hasn't been an inconvenience for anyone, and they are entertaining trying to do this again before the end of this year. 75/80 is going to try this race again on Sat. October 15th. Gates will open at 12:00 noon (their fall schedule). You can pre register, but it is not mandatory. For those that are not racing at Cecil on Oct. 1st, 75/80 will be running their normal $500. to win 10.00 race, which will also be a 12:00 start.
