How to break in new racing engine?
What method would you use to break in a new motor if it is in the car? (not street legal btw)

5.7 Hemi new rings, bearings, ported/polished heads, new springs, pretty potent flat tappet cam. Compression a little higher than stock.

DO NOT use high end oil to break in the rings. Using high end oil will prevent the rings from seating properly and will cause your cylinders to turn blue and have alot of blow by. Just use regular oil and buy a bottle of engine break in additive from Comp Cams or they have quarts of break in oil. You need to break in the cam by running the engine at 2500 RPM for 30 minutes.
