show window net pics

Post by onefastermonte85 »

Hey can you guys post some window net pictures.
I need to figure out how you have the bottom the window net mounted onto the cage.
My current window net setup sucks balls and theres no way i'll be able to get out with the turn out bar closed.

Thank you,
Gregg

As you can see my window net bars go up and down instead of front to back.
You have to cut and reweld the seat belt buckle on the right way and you need to get a custom window net made. M&R made mine ( in 10 days ) off of a template I mailed them, we made the template first then marked the cage and tacked the tabs till we got the fit right.

Make the 1 end next to your head pivot, use a rod end and weld a tab and bolt it to it so when you unbuckle the seat belt tab it drops down next to you. You can kinda see how mine pivots in the second pic if you look at the down bar. You can also weld a tab with a hole that ur upper bar slides into while the other end of the bar has the seat belt tab. When you unbuckle you pull it out of the tab and drop it down next to you. But I think a pivot would be better.

i like your design, but i need something more simplified for street use. I will barely use the window net, only when at the drag strip. I street drive the car allot. Its so tame it could be a daiily driver
