Real Street Outlaw Rules: http://www.cfscshootout.com/CLASS_INFO_ ... treet.html
Here are some Class highlights. We are accepting cars that meet the merit of a street car. And yes in a lot of cases they will be more of a race car modified to run on the street, but that is the nature of the beast. Our theory is if you get pulled over on the street, what would generally happen? If in 99% of the time you would not get towed, then that should be considered a street car. So things like lights, brakes, lisence, insurance, are extremely important.
Now I want to be clear, I realize our rules are more open than other classes, and I am not saying our rules are better than other classes. It is more because we are appealing to the entire world, which has different laws in different countries. Just like in the US, laws vary state to state, well imagine when you are dealing with different countries.
We have a 20 plus mile cruise, part of which is over this, and going to be lead by the 76 Vette Miramichi Police Car:

After which you come to track, where you are parked for 45-60 minutes. This is allow your cars to cool, and you will also be allowed to install NOS bottles as they are illegal on the streets of Canada, and adjust your tire pressure. Will not be allowed to add ice to intercoolers.
Then there are three back to back passes, to establish a ladder. The top 4 cars from each country, and the next fastest qualifiers for a total 16 car field will be graduated to the World Street Event. Those cars not graduating will remain in the Real Street Outlaw Class. Both classes are all run, and will run elminations on Sunday. We are gonig to do our best to make sure you start out running other cars around your ET and speed.
There are prizes (including Limited Edition Jackets) for the fastest 8,9,10,11,12,13 second cars in the RSO class. There is also cash for winners. But I dont think anyone is in this type of racing for the money.
Can you imagine cruising with the very fastest cars from around the world? Racers like Rod Saboury, Eddie Miller, Eric Kenward, Andy Frost, Boo King, Sheldon Root, plus many, many more.
Some extras about our Event:
1.) Media attention from around the world. Everyone in this class will have autograph sessions, media questioning, we have have live to air by Your Way Network, PowerHouse is doing DVD's as are a couple of others, regular TV, a crew from Hollywood, Prime Time commercials, etc. I should mention that RPM Magazine is a major sponsor and force behind the race. So there is print coverageas well (and other magazines will be there as well)
2.) Free enterance for military personell and their families.
3.) Family Day, for the children there is free face painting, monster truck 7 fire truck rides, bouncy rides, games, fire works, Racers BBQ where we feed you and offer you a brown pop, Concert, and some other stuff we havent announced yet. On Sunday fans are likely going to see a lot of planes in the background, but legally I cant saying anything.
4.) The track is being prepped by Mike Klone, and sits right at sea level, so you should run some of your best times ever.
5.) You can double enter classes to, with some restrictions, the second class is $50.
6.) The first 300 racers will recieve gift bags. Which sounds like nothing, but you have never seen our gift bags before. Lucas Oil is giving away 4 quarts of their synthetic oil plus a bottle of additive. That is just a start. We have had it in the past where the gift bags were worth more than the entrance fees, LOL, though that is never guaranteed.
7.) We will have the proper paperwork and checklists you will need to cross the border easily and near hassle free. Only big thing is you cannot have a criminal record.
Likely a bunch of stuff I am forgetting. If you have any questions you can post them here or email me at razor1966@rogers.com . Really hope to see a lot of you guys up here. The people are extremely hospitable, and they are really, really pumped about this event.
