Got up there late Friday afternoon and headed over to the Quarter Aces Dragway which is an 1/8th mile track up in Boiling Springs, PA, about 15 minutes away from the fairgrounds. This track was packed full of spectators, the ones we talked to were both from the local area and also in town for the show. The facility was pretty cool, nestled over in the country-side there. Spectators could be ground level on the tower side, or up on the hill side and view the races from a high vantage point. The track looked to have been revamped recently, sporting some new (and very sticky from the sound of it) concrete for the first good bit of 660. They were running some bracket classes, the one I enjoyed most was the pro/stick category where all of the cars had manual transmissions. Also were some funny cars there, we missed them though before we showed up, and the one that ran while we were there had some problems after the burnout and shut down.

Some of my top choices from the quarter aces galery:

Saturday brought the big show day where attendance is highest and judging takes place. Weather was perfect for a show with bright sunlight for the entire day. There was an enormous amount of F-bodys in attendance, more than I've ever seen there... also quite an impressive showing of '04-'06 GTOs in the house. Later in the evening brought the Burnout Contest and Beauty Pageant (yes pics are in the gallery

GM showed up with guns blazing this year... showing a 2009 Camaro mule car (camo and all) right before the burnout contest, also brought along a bunch of GM cars including a new Corvette ZR1, Bumble Bee Camaro from Transformers, a new Convertible Camaro, and a special z06 corvette.
I took as many pics as I could.. enjoy
