7/15/2008 Atco Bracket Racing / Test & Tune

Well I just went down to Atco to hang out and watch the races.. didn't think I'd bring the camera out, but I ended up taking the time to practice panning shots from the stands (panning = tracking the cars as they move and using a slower shutter speed so that the is sharp but everything else is blurred). Man it is hard tracking cars at the 1/8th !! they are accelerating so fast and it's just not easy. Took a few pics before the sun went down and I busted out the bbq for dinner.

So.. here are the pics.. nothing to write home about but nevertheless thought I would share.

Thks. That stuff is hard to do and half the photos don't even come out.. the rest aren't nearly as sharp as something you would snap high speed on the starting line.. but, it's a good challenge

Yeah, sucked for that guy in the Supra, that was a nice ride. edit: that wasn't philly single was it???
