IF you have solenoids for each bank you will need one for each side...

I have my purges at the firewall right before the Y fitting. There is a very short piece of hose between there and the solenoids and there is so much pressure in the nitrous line that there is very little delay between the purge and the jets and any air is gone fast if it would be trapped. I don't think you need them on each side. That would be ideal but the guys that have 3 or 4 kits don't have 6 or 8 different purge solenoids.
