As per 10.0 Index rules:

10.00 index heads -up
To qualify for the 10.00 Index race, you must be 10.50 seconds or quicker
Any racers performance that exceeds, in what is acceptable by NHRA standards,
For the E.T or MPH for the class they are racing will be banned from the class and possibly suspended.
Eight or Sixteen and over 28 cars qualified race field. Sportsman ladder. Racers on a more than (16) car ladder will not be awarded 1st round loser monies.
(Race Director has option to expand qualified field)

Basically, if we get enough cars we will expand the field. You must be able to run quicker than 10.50 or 12.50 though.

Thanks for the info Dave. I thought it might be different since it is part of the Outlaws weekend.

Never did understand the the 28 cars. Does that mean if there are are 28 more it is all run?

Redgar the most it might go to is 32 car field not all run

As long as they run as quick as 10.50 or 12.50 they would get in.

You have to run 10.50 or quicker so a 10.5x run would be a no go. Sorry. Hope you can make it.

Hello Redgar, do u know how many Etown racers may be coming to Outlaws next week? Will post up a roll call to try and get a good car count. Hoping to get 32 cars or more. The bump the last 2 races have been 10.08 in July & 10.10 in Aug, that was with a 16 car field. Don't know what the bump might be with 32 cars.I am sending u a Pm- Carey

From the Corvette side, at least INSANITY is coming. We have a Corvette 10.0 tomorrow and will see if any others are planning on it. I really want to but am too slow to make the cutoff of 10.50 until the end of the year with weather. I will see how close I come tomorrow and if I am within a tenth I might try it.

So of our 10.0 racers are not legal for Atco 10.0 though.
