8.50 @ SHAKEDOWN

Post by 68 ragtop »

OK lets hear it-----Who’s in for 8.50 Saturday and Sunday at the Shakedown?

The scheduled 8.50 E-Town points race will go off as planned Friday night the 3rd. BUT stick around for Saturdays qualifier and Sundays eliminations for the $$$$.

Lets see if this could happen---WHOS IN???

In the interest of this successful series lets keep the spirit of the class going with the existing rules ( any suggestions voice them here)
E-TOWN IS A 10.5 W X 33 max tire and alcohol is allowed

An OUTLAW 8.50 race has been proposed ---your thoughts?

Sponsorships are still available contact me at 732-872-8160 for info.

Thanks Keith

What is an "outlaw" 8.50 race? No rules? I am saying we stick by the rules we have at Cecil, Atco and E-town with a compromise on the differences. Not sure of the all the E-town rules but I don't think alcohol is allowed at the other two tracks. The cool part about this class is the MOST of the cars are "street appearing" and that is what the fans like.

Keith, since Saturday/Sunday are going to be non-muffled days, are mufflers going to be required for 8.50? My father is John with the black/purple/checkerboard Monte Carlo. Thanks

every 8.50 rule i saw said they need mufflers. Just put a set on, either way it won't effect the performance
