03 impala dual climate control

my dads 03 chevy impala has cold air on the ps but not on the drivers side.

we had another head to swap in and it did not change. the ps will blow out cold and the drivers side come out realy hot.
any ideas or where i should check next. all the ducts settings work correctly,

the dual zone has two motors and two air paths split to give ya the dual zone. which ever one wont go cold to hot or vise versa is bad .mostly it is the motors but the doors sometimes get stuck and the temp door motor will snap off the doors shaft and slam shut . alot of times you can eye ball them and see if its turning . i dont have a pic. of the heater box at home and i cant email from work .if ya e-mail me i

well the side that is not getting cold still blows realy strong its just feels like heat?? you say i may be able to look down and see the door? where is it locateed?? down in the center??


i take it either way i am going to have to rip alot of shit out of the dash to get to it im sure..

so he tells me today that he turned it on and it blew cold out of both sides.... go figure!!
