He means, there was an Index race scheduled during Outlaws at Atco and the makeup is the 23rd

Am i the only one that has noticed car count going doing in 10.0?

Redgar the car count may go up or down from race to race.The 10.0 index averaged maybe 20 cars last year, the last 3 races we have seen 24-30 cars.
The 12.0 numbers may have dropped. All the index classes 8.50-10.0-12.0 u see tigher fields.
We had 45 different cars in the 10.0 this year. Thur nite races are tough for some racers to make all the time, and cars are going to break.The next 2 races will be something to see!

Car Count has taken a hit everywhere with the economy. THat's why it's important to work together. More Index races seem to pop up every year.

I know I said this on here somewhere before, if Cecil wants to do a 10.0 Index race and they had $1K to win I may tow down there. Gotta know the rules too. There's a guy down there that will give ANYONE a run for their money with a wheel standing Ford Wagon. I raced him in the 5th round of the $10K Footbrake Race and was on the losing side of that battle. Oh yeah, I think he was their track champ in Pro this year too. Maybe you'll know him, Gary Simpers. He was dialed 10.08 against me. If his car fits the rules watch out!!!!! I know anyone that foot brakes knows who he is!

Carey I have noticed the fields get tighter and was thinking maybe that has something to do with the lower turnout. Anyway, I saw you ran a package that was like in the thousandths. Congrats on the win.
