Thanks to all for the kind words and congrats. I guess sometimes it's better to be lucky than good....
It was anyone's game right up until the end, seems like the drag racing gods were shining upon us this year. It feels great but I can't help notice a giant bullseye on the back of the Chevelle!!! It's o.k. to be a target, it's better than the old street-racing days... when 'johnny-law' was the one chasing us!
Sorry for the slow reply; but what do you expect from TEAM A.D.D. ????????
So we celebrated last night by pulling the motor and trans out of the car and tearing it down. To our delight it looked pretty nice with only normal wear. If anyone out there is looking to sponsor a Winning 10.00 car - we have one that could use some machine work , a set of rings and bearings, and maybe a set of connecting rods....what can I say..... Guppy is wearing off on us....
