Re: Average 10.0 MPH
there are alot of different variables. most of it depends on type of power adder if one is used. some depends on transmission type and so on an so forth. 10.0 cars can be anywhere from 132 to 136 mph

Re: Average 10.0 MPH
well.....you've narrowed it some. now you are looking at 132-134 but i could tell you more if i knew the rear tire size and rear gear. I also assume you plan on buzzin the shit outta a lil SBF.

Re: Average 10.0 MPH
my calculations are between 7300 and 7400. can you get a 29" tire in there?
each set up is a lil different. with my 29.5" tall tire and a 4.56 gear and a glide i would trap 135-136 on motor at 7000 rpm but the 60' was slightly lacking due to the glides 1.76 first gear set but the motor , tire , and gearing worked well throught the rest of the quarter to make a lil more mph. If yoiu can sixty foot in the 1.39-1.40 range and get to the 1/8 in 6.39-6.40 you should be 10.00 or a lil better as long as you don't run outta motor before the stripe.

oh! is you 28" tire a slick or radial ? that's gonna play some difference between a slick growing and a radial not growing.

Re: Average 10.0 MPH
28 inch is a slick. The cam is good for 7500 but im shifting at 7 maybe take it to 7200.With my N/A 306 60s are 1.45 so with the 347 high 1.3s shouldnt be a problem.I already have the 456 gears laying around so ill slap them in shud def get it close to where it needs to be.........
