difference in converter stall speed?

Post by big ken sloat »

i have a 434 sb with around 585hp and about the same torque. cam is 600 lift, with a ati treemaster 4500 stall. im going to a 468 around 700 hp and would asume around 600+ torque. cam is 680 lift, how do you think using the same converter will act since the torque is about the same? thanks ken ps i did get a treemaster converter with motor around 5300 but i thought it might be too much for street.
