ford soleniod on gm

hey guys ive done this before but it was about 3 years ago anyone know how to wire the ford starter soleniod up to work on the gm so u can mount it to the firewall any helps wud be great thanks

you have to jump the big post to the little post on the gm starter

then run a hot wire from the for sel. to the big post of the starter

take the stock wires hook them to the hot side of the for sel. and one of the little posts

Don't forget the ford selnoid must be grounded.....There are 2 small terms on the ford selnoid,if the one does not work use the other...Oldhead

all i have as far as the stock wiring is the purple wire nothing else so where wud that go i no the jumping wire part and obviosly bat to ford sel then sel to gm starter but where does purple go cuz theres 2 samll posts
