I am writing this to maybe get a few answers from people (AtcoDave) that could help me out. I have a few friends that are regulars at the track on Thursday nights, and would like me to take pictures of their cars as the leave the line. What are the regulations reguarding where I am allowed to stand to take pictures. The best spot for me would be right behind the right lane guardrail about 30yards down-track. I understand this might not be allowed...where exactly can I stand other then in the stands to get a front shot of the cars. I am not a professional photographer but I would like to hone my skills and if I can get some good action shots of cars leaving the line it would be great. Does the track offer some kind of "press pass" to get me in spots that I normally wouldn't be allowed?
I am in no way trying to take anything away from Mr. David Milcarek, these pictures would be for me and the few guys who actually own the cars. (I don't want to step on anyone toes)
Thank you,
Eric B.
