The holley hp carb is far superior to the profrom 1. But it also depends on your motor on what you realy need.

We went with the Quickfuel 750 Drag Race carb and found .05 out of the box, and the solution to a bunch of trouble with our Holley/Proform conversion 650.

Alot depends on your application, and the amount of money you want to spend.

The basic holley, and the holley HP series are hard to beat for stock carbs.

If you want to step up then i would suggest a Pro-Systems carb. If your interested i am a dealer and can get you a price. PM me.

Don't short change a Proform until you try one. F.Y.I Proform carbs are assembled and tested at QuickFuel. I did a 496 for a guy last year and that is what he bought. It ran a little fat at idle, so I called Proform looking for suggestions. They told me to call QuickFuel and explain my problem to them. A idle air bleed change corrected the problem. The carb runs real strong with no other problems and very responsive.
