Great job on winning the first ever Cecil County 10.0 index! Picking up right where you left off last year!

After watching the 2nd round, I said I wouldn't be surprised if Romeo's Camaro won it all. It almost happened. Us Maryland Guys will need to do a little better next time (as well as I need a tranny fixed). Good luck next weekend at Atco.

thanks, great job taking them, I wish I told you to come back up and photo my car on the t-t run after Mike beat me. All but sparks off the rear bumper probably about 100 or more feet out. I hope someone got a nice pic of it.

If that's cheating; then Yep... We're guilty as O.J.

We got to e-town thurs night and set-up all the junk and broken parts from the last 6 months. I started drinking like it was my last day on God's green earth (as always), and selling parts to people I don't know.

C.J. left Friday afternoon, trusting me and my hooligans with his brand new trailer (including tools and spares).

He called me after qualifying, saying that he tossed the alternator belt. It took out the wiring for the water pump and mangled the timing pointer. The spare belt was with me (of course it's a serpentine). He was about to give up and go home but said he would try to borrow a battery charger and fix the water pump wires.

I said good luck, be safe, give 'em Hell...

The next call I got was from the Winner's circle....I ABOUT LOST MY MIND..... I started freaking out and smashing my own sh-t in the middle of the aisle. I think I shot a couple people with a cap gun...Sorry BTW...

C.J. 's own words here..."If drag racing is 90% skill and 10% luck, then TODAY was 70/30, maybe 50/50"

Thanks to all for the accolades, I'm glad to see fellow racers help someone in need, even a competitor...

Thanks to Guppy and his crew for whom this Win would not have been possible without. Gup can be a handful sometimes, but when push comes to shove, It's nice to know he's got your back.

See all of you soon, Dave.
