88 kawasaki Mojave 250 600.00

88 250 Mojave 4 stroke, water cooled, Carb just redone from famous Mikes Cobra exhaust, everything else is stock has original decals on it. No cracks on plastic. 5 sp. w/ reverse & headlight.

Here is the story.

Bought the quad last week for 600.00 Knowing that the kick start didn't work we pop started it so I could ride it and make sure everything was fine and it was. I got it home took the kick start apart to replace the gear that we figured was missing teeth and it was, plus the clutch basket had to be replaced cluthes were all good. Then I noticed another gear was loose and find out it was the transmission output shaft had broke. It is the shaft the the front sprocket of the chain rides on so that needs to be replaced. The part cost 107.00 from cycle world in cherry hill and has to be ordered. I bought a different quad to ride with my son so I am selling this one. I want the 600.00 that I paid and I just put 300.00 in parts replacing the reverse gear and clutch basket. Will be a real nice quad when this is fixed.
