1st...tech was a joke, lots of cars that 'could' have been illegal for studs, valve stems, and especially the notorious bullet muffler who were permitted to compete, should never have gotten through...for a team who is meticulous about following rules we felt slighted
2nd...pit parking was hurrendous...couldn't even open the door on the trailer since we had to park so close to our neighbor
3rd...no accountability...if they call numbers 26-50 up for tech, then tech only those numbers, permitting 146 or 177 to enter causes the **** at tech and later the staging lanes which created lines hundreds of yards long and traffic jams
4th...driver registration outside the gate was a joke...one woman doing it, all drivers and crew were converged on one table...it was almost as much of a debacle as the online registration...
5th...yet again they overlooked a slower field of closer times to pick a faster field (same as Maple Grove)
all in all though, nice to see some local faces and run a well prepped track...they handled the car load well, keeping racing moving even through the minimal oil downs...Maple Grove last year was 365 cars and much less taxing...I think they should limit the fields to that but i suppose greed necessitates more

I missed ya down there derek, you with yours or your buddies car? Overall the waiting was a bit tedious but i guess considering the amount of cars and everything going on it worked well enough (they did get it finished in 2 days, even though we got jipped on a 3rd test and tune pass because of time on fri.) Tech was a joke, didnt care about mufflers, studs, overflows etc.. I had the hood off thinking they would be checking that since atco and regular etown tech has been so strict. dude didnt even care. He asked for my drivers license/comp license, then walked around the outside the car and asked me if my belts were good, thats it lol >> Was cool day though I couldnt get my car to hook, but i cant blame the track cause jacks 04 cobra dead hooked and broke the eaton posi in half after a quick tire pressure adjustment for the 2nd T+T pass >> We will be at pinks all out again if they go anywhere localish (etown,atco,grove,cecil,etc..)

They both I believe where in the 11's. Nice sleepers!! The Chevelle is capable of 10's from what the owner told me. It's crazy what some people put together.
I think I saw the primered 4 door 67

that turbo 4 door was a sleeper indeed.... too much down time... no fill ins.. just the regular 850 guys and the 12.0 index and 11.0 index... and the 10.5 outlaw cars.. which some of those guys are there on wednesdays tuning... i was dissapointed... no crowd interaction.. they make it look like a great time on tv... myself being someone who missed the call to be in the 450.. i was going anyway... i understand that they are filming a tv show.. but without the fans they are nothing... no meet and greets...
but anyway... great job by my friend jim chahalis... representing the local boys!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should have finished the quick 8's and got rid of the wheelstanders because there was only one good wheelstand and the quick 8's were fun! Plus they had all of that time to fill and I was getting bored between rounds. If they had organized the event schedule better, they could have had the quick 8's and wheelstanders all in time before the 1st round of PINKS All Out Eliminations. Does anyone agree?

WAY to much down timeeeeeeeeeee
I got in at 2:30 saw about 2 cars.
I waited 1-2 hours saw some 10.5 guys some 8.50 cars
They should have just had cars making test passes to pass the time.
They didn't start the show till about 7:00 I was so pissed i left after the first round.
What a waste of money.
The first and last time I will go see the show.
PINKS sucks

He definately has no knowledge of cars that's why he surrounded himself with people who do . Gavin definately yells too much. You should of heard what it sounded like on the local radio station(87.9 FM) when he was yelling " BUUURRRRNNNNN OOOUUUTTT!!!!!
I did enjoy when they walked around with the camera and got the crowd into it and when they shot the t-shirts out of that cannon contraption. I snagged a couple!!
That one Black and green Turbo Mustang that ran 6.80's at 211 mph was BADASS!!!!!!

we got there @ 6am friday to sit for 3hrs before we got in, that sucked. plus only getting to timeshots was a waste. we should of been able to get 3-4.minor tire spin, other then that we had a great time. we finally got our camaro down the track in the Quik8 field only to runner up. we did hold the fastest mph tho @ 170.89. Joe thanks for your help with the airtank but next time watch out cuz we will be coming after you guys when we get the twin turbos figured out.

I was there on Sat from 11 AM until the last Pinks final race.
The place was not very populated until about 6PM.
The whole experience was quite tame yet enjoyable.
Lynch's sub 7 second runs were absolutely awesome along with the white chevelle's wheel stands.
I can't believe the silver TA in the final 8 lost because of his nitrous problem. That must be hard to swallow for him !! I was pullin for him !
I love drag racing and we definately saw alot of racing on Sat !!!
About Rich ..... he is an actor and a very smart business man !! He is NOT a racer. Once you understand this; you will stop giving him shit for the stuff he does. It's his show; let's just enjoy it for what it is.
Anyone buy anything there ??? Damn burgers were 7 bucks !!! T-shirts were 25 or 30 bucks, ball caps wer $25 ..... Holy shit people !!
All in all, me and everyone else that I went with had a nice time !!!

I definately not knocking the guy. I have gotten used to him now.He is definately a smart guy. He has got a lot of good ideas for the shows he has put out on the Speed Channel (Pinks,Pinks All Out , Pass Time). He had another sho that was on there (it had something to do with breaking records with differnent kinds of motor vehicles) which didn't last too long.
Thanks to Rich Christensen and The Speed Channel for putting your heads together to come up with these shows. They have definately helped put Drag racing (on the smaller scale) ie street racing ,etc. on the map(other than the NHRA) for us guys/gals who love the sport. It's nice to see every day Joe's like you and me race their cars on TV. I actually get into these shows more than watching the NHRA.

I had fun racing, hanging out with friends and checking out the all the cars. I saw a lot of cars from this site and I have to say you all have some really nice rides. I wish I would have taken more time to meet some of you. We were standing around at the reg. table on Friday morning when Rick was pulling in with his 4-dr chevelle and a couple of people were saying look at that p.o.s. on the trailer behind the motorhome. I smiled and said I bet your gonna be surprised what it runs. Its a very cool sleeper, I dig the cage as well.
Probably one of the funniest things of the weekend was at the drivers meeting when Rich Christensen said "If I or any of my staff hear you say 'Rich is a douche' you will be thrown out of the show immediately!" I about fell out of the stands laughing.
I would have preferred the 11.00 sec class over the 9.90 class cause a friend of mine would have been in, but other than that I thought they did a good job keeping the final 16 close. All and all I had a good time, If another All Out comes to the area I would try to get in again.
