Wow I don't know how I missed all this action since I last posted. I was actually honeymooning here in the same tropical Amity Township that our famous moderator MIKE lives in. I had to keep working to afford my off season blue speed drug habbit.
I have had a notification tab checked here but nothing showed up.
I agree with John, Craig. That lead sled of yours is has some inertia behind it and I think you should upgrade the chassis even if you have to take the year off.

Marc, That lead sled of mine wouldn't have you worried this year, hence the comment take the year off? I'll probably come out this year and struggle like I did the past 2 years, only to have a couple of good passes at the end of the year

I ask my self why do you put your self through this? One good pass makes it all worthwhile.

I think Paul Ferucci (Pink Malibu) with an 8.61 or .63... Somewhere around there, and that was at the superbowl at Joliet last year. That was traction limited, the car's been 8.15@170 at shakedown.

The 3 fastest cars have all had a 3 pass average between 8.61 and 8.63. Two of those 3 guys will be there.

I think you will see several cars beat that average at Atco.

Heck, I'd be willing to bet that at least 8 cars will beat that average, if not the top ten.

I think that might be a little aggressive.

our drag radial car never gets hotter then 180 after the pass and by the time he drives back to the pit its at 160.. also with the extra time it takes to pack the chute thats another 5 minutes... we're looking to run a consistant 8.3s, but like everyone says on paper everything looks easy.....

Yeah maybe a little, but lets just say I wouldn't be surprised. I'd be more shocked if only 3-4 cars did it.
