Chevelle front suspension questions

Have a 68 Chevelle that im trying to get to hook. So far I have moroso trick rear springs with 50/50 comp engineering shocks. Adjustable tubular lowers with stock uppers. Its on 275/60/15 drag radials. Front suspension is cut 6cylinder spings with stock shocks.

I know I need to change the front a bit, but im still trying to maintain the same ride height that I have now without risking traction. I am getting ready to do a front disc brake conversion and would like to do it all at once. My main question is what front springs and shocks should I switch to, and will using 2" drop spindles hurt front suspension at the track?

I have lakewood 90/10 in the front of my 67 chevelle and it hooks great.I also got big block springs in the front of mine with a SBC.

I was going to get some 90/10's in the front, but with the big block springs? how high does that sit in the front. do you have pics?

I got the car all apart now and no engine in it so its got no weight in the front end so it sits high.It sits high with the big block springs. But i got 60's all around the car,not skinnies in the front

you need a tall spring that is light weight=custom (moroso) . to allow it to raise and settle and a real set of shocks .90-10 will just let the front end raise qwick and never come down. alum. stocker stars come to mind .get the rear down as low as tire clearance allows and let the front end stay low with the custom front springs.

Im assuming Id have to get the front end of my car weighed to find out what front springs to get.
