This is from TJ's 3rd round qualifier, then round 2 and round 3 elimination passes down at SGMP for the ORTC race a couple of weekends ago.

Taken with the GoPro camera.. I know.. the contrast sucks and you can barely see out the front. That'll be fixed as soon as I throw it away and get a better camera.

My first try editing with Premiere as well, very powerful software, just need to get used to it !!

TJ looks pretty comfy in there, dudes got talent, BTW, I like the glare coming through the smoke, looks cool after the burnout, lol. Good job, Premier is hard

I am hoping to do more in-car stuff this year.. I need to find a camera that does good audio. I am hesitant to try out the HD gopro after dealing with this one.. but we'll see. $$ determines what I get :)

You hit the nail on the head with premiere... learning curve with these apps, but I am getting the hang of it

Seth, I once saw a video of a guy driving an unmuffledrat rod around, the first one the sound was terrible, the second one, someone told him to put a peice of tape over the mic andit fixed it amazingly, sound was clear and oud. I think they say that it has to do with the harmonics. Although Arnie did tell me that on his go Pro's, the sound had to be turned down or it affected the video too.

I would still be led to believe that any video type camera inside a car is just as good as a go pro in all ways except for the size of it

I agree with both points my man. The gopro is in "low" mode which is for very loud areas like a race car, wind noise, etc... The mic is inside that waterproof housing, so there is a disadvantage from the get go.. if you leave the rubber gasket off, it makes it worse... I gave up :)

There are now gopro HD cameras, the example videos look nice. I am hesitant on dropping 200 bucks on one and having it have the same sound and brightness/contrast problems as the other one.

I really like the VIO POV, thinking about getting it.
