can't do a good burnout

after installing the front straight axle on my 62 nova ,i can't do a burnout in the box without the cars assend going to the right every time,no smoke of the tires at all.this car heated the tires fine before.all i did was put the axle on.the front is higher than the rear know.it does have full spool in the rear with moser axles.the car goes done the track nice.i am footbraking this no linelock do you think a linelock would help.it has disc on the front and rear
