May 29th at 75/80 Dragway-$1200. to win

Post by Matt Jewell »

I will try to get some more details, but on 75/80 Dragway's website they list a 10.00 Index (also a 9.00 and 11.50 as well) that will pay out $1200. with a $100. entry fee. Says stock type suspension with DOT tires, but need to clarify if there are any other rules, how far they plan to pay back, etc. Gates Open at 10 AM. I'll post what info I can find out.

The info I received back from the Track operator is as follows-
$100. entry fee, .400 Pro Tree, All Run Field, payout based on 8 car minimum
$1200. to win, $300. to Runner Up, $150. for Semi, and $100. for Quarters
Rules were revised to Street Appearing with a DOT tire.
More info can be found on 75/80 dragway's website. Anybody interestsed?

I am interested, I have to work on saturday till noon and then about 2.5 hours away depending on traffic. Any estimated time on the qualifiers and eliminations? And how many qualifying passes? Also if I miss the qualifiers could I still run because its an all run field?

I'm sure it is a long drive for many of you, I know it takes me over 3 hours to make it to Atco. Holiday traffic can be brutal. Just wanted to let some of you know of a good payout. I haven't raced all season, but plan to make this one. As far as the the .400 tree, that is what they decided, but I can't imagine anyone cutting a .400-.420's like this.

EZ PASS is a must for anyone going to following us down, the tolls will be most of the traffic back ups. We will be leaving very early(aprox 6am) and may be meeting up with some racers on the hwy. Hulk JR and SR ,you guys are more then welcome to ride down with us, we will feed you and supply ice cold drinks LOL !!!!!!!! The .400 tree is not a problem for me but I hope everyone else struggles!!!!!!

Mark, hope everything is going well for you. I didn't plan on racing until Sept., but couldn't pass this up so close to home. Give me a call when you have time.

Looks like 2-3 10.00 cars coming down saturday for the event if all goes well. Are flowmaster bullets legal and what type of fuel do they sell there? Thanks

No problems on any mufflers. As far as fuel. I know they have had pails of VP before, but don't know what Grades or how much.
