Help with sheet metal

I have a 67 chevelle that needs ALOT OF WORK.I already brought new floors for the front but Iv never done this type of work before.Whats it take to replace floor pans?I have a welder.
This is for a '69 'velle, but the process is about the same.

I am currently doing the floors & trans tunnel in my Jag & it is a PITA.
This is without a doubt the hardest thing to do on any car.
