Lee I am working/hoping there are 35 so we can have a 32 car field.

Of course the other alternative is for me to be one of the quickest 16 to make sure I am there. So far my best is a .13 which was good for the 16 in July;)

I may actually do that Pro dial on Saturday and 10.0 on Sunday because I would imagine parking on Sunday arrival might be an issue..LOL

i think that Sunday will be tough also but that is when i am going. i have to be at Atco Friday night and have other commitments for Sat. so it's get there late and probably park way out in the boonies. all i really want to see is the golf cart race.

How did you make out Lee?

broke the new trans in the first round friday night. shifted to third, it made a loud bang and now all it has is park and neutral. i'll have it out tomorrow, hopefully something simple like an input shaft. gonna hurt your 35 car count. we only had 10 fri night

Lee I tried to find you Friday but couldn't - you lost a bunch of sticky wheel weights on your last pass, maybe 5-6.

i'll have to look into it. i'm pulling the rear also as the pinion is clunking and moving back and forth. it shook the tires a bit on the pass when it broke so that may have been why the weights came off and the pinion bearings seem beat up.

Yeah man, I am really sorry I did not get out to you - I thought the track guys stopped you but when I found out they didn't I didn't know where you were pitted. You shook the tires pretty good at line and that's when they went flying off.

i guess it shook harder than i thought. i'm new to the hoosiers. it seems right now that the the splines are torn out of the drum where the input shaft goes in to it, the input shaft is okay but it spins instead of being engaged in the splines. the tyrans is in the car trunk to back to the trans shop and the rear is in the back of the truck to go to Swarr's. we'll see what the damage is and what it will cost before i decide if the seasons' over or not
