Any shops that can fix rims??

Are there any local shops in South Jersey area ( or even NON local shops since they are footing the shipping bill if need be) that you guys know of that can fix some gouges in some expensive polished, forged aluminum rims. I spent a fortune on some custom rims and the idiots at a local tire place gouged the shit out of them when mounting the tires. They are saying that they plan to make it rigth by fixing them, but so far they cannot find a shop to do so (tells you the kind of incompetence I am dealing with here)
All four rims have 1-3 @1/2" gouges in the same area on each lip of each rim...and I need these damned things fixed asap.
I have way too much money and time waiting for them to arrive to just look at them sit in the damned garage and collect dust...
Thanks in advance,
Stan

Im not sure of anything in south jersey but i know of a place in delaware called Sportscar Tire. They do excellent work. They repair all kinds of rims. I've seen thier work because they buy tires from the place that i work and i've delivered to them. They are right over the Del mem bridge off of 495 on 13th street in Wilmington. Mapquest them-1203 East 13th street Wilmington Delaware 19802. A friend of mine hit a curb in his iroc and mangled the rim. They made it look brand new. Hope this helps

Thanks, I will look them up. I appreciate the help.
Obviously I am going to have to do the leg work on this too, even though *I* didn't destroy my own set of brand new rims.....lol.

The pics suck, but you can get a general idea of what I am looking at.
Granted they are small, but I just spent over $2K on these and waited @ 4 months to get them in, and then this....
I will not put these on the car like this, I brought in brand new rims, and I want to leave with brand new rims. I am supposed to be dropping them off to the shop again on Monday so they can take them to a place to get an estimate, then I will go from there.
Hopefully, they start moving their asses b/c I am tired of being patient, Mr. Nice Guy....
Thanks for the help guys, if their shop doesn't pan out I have written down these shops and will start handling the process on my own...

are the reverse mount? if there not make them buy you new ones.... idiots at tire shops never use the clamp pads and thats what gouged them.

I am pretty sure he said they were reverse mount to be honest.
He said after looking at the machine the next day that there was another plate that goes underneath that must have hit each one.
Why that did not happen the first time they did them I have no idea(they mounted them once just fine, but they had to change out the valve stems as they put ones in that were too long -b/c they are on the inside of the rim and were hitting calipers-, the second time was when they screwed them up)....
I have never messed with any of those machines so its all foreign to me.
I just know they f'ed them up and they are either going to have them fixed to my satisfaction, or they will replace them. I already got it in writing that they will make the situation right, I just hope I don't have to sit around forever and then fight them all the way for them to fix/repair them to MY satisfaction.

Thanks everyone.
They actually found their own shop that deals with rim repair for alot of high end cars and they are sending them over for an estimate so we will see what happens. If they don't use them, I will be suggesting some of these places. I just want my shit back like I took it there, looking brand new....
Thanks again,
Stan
