I have a stock boxed suspendtion 78 malibu with the rear sway bar on I have a set of
275/65/15 hoosier dot drag radials I can het them to hook at all my 60ft times are in 1.9 range I'm still running 11.73 at 118 mph I want switch to a dot slick not a radial but don't wanna buy another useless tire I have BBC. 454 th400 trans and 4000 stall converter I only have about 12 runs on my current radials but the really only hooked up like3 times

everyone has their favs , i find that hoosiers don't last past 30-40 runs and i like mickey t's , get over 100 consistent runs out of a set
that said , 1.9's out of a car that runs 11.70's sucks , how much gear do you have ? your either spinning off the line or under geared or your car has no bottom end power
should be in the 1.6 range

I'm spining bad I got 4.10 gears in Ford 9in

malibus are tough to hook , hard to get more than a 9 inch tire in there
my buds been 10.80s with a 1.53 60 on 9 inch mickey t drag radials , but has some work on relocated control arms

I'm getting a set of mickey t slicks from my uncle to try to see if they hook if so I'm going order set of et streets and stray away from hoosier hopefully I can sell the drag radials I got help off set the price of new ones

Yay or nay on running a rear away bar I had it off car and it did hook but twisted launching so I reinstalled it and the twist lessened but now my 60 ft times suck and I'm spinning

depends on the car , mine likes it on , leaves more level though same et , friends car hates it , drops an .08

I got it to hook up Atco ended goin 10.96 at 125 mph
