I have a TH-400 out of a jeep; I would like to have the speedo hole opened up to use it for my speed o - I do not have a transfer case on the tranny any one know of a shop that can do this for me

I wouldn't think It's too hard to pop out the plug and pull the tail housing and put in a new speedo gear, but you'll just have to find the right gear & the part the cable threads onto. .

this tranny has not been machined in the case for the speed-o set up 4x4 tranny uses the transfer case for the speedo
