is it my eyes or did I see unk's name on there?

What happen, out of 400+ racers for the second chance racers only 96 cars showed up, the track was closed @ 3 pm when I pulled up to the gate, what a waste of Gas and Time

Yeah - it was a shame. I think that they needed to give more cars a chance to go to the pinks show from this race/let more cars in.

I made one qualifyer and had an idler pulley on my supercharger setup go bad and it snapped the belt.

Oh well - at least it wasn't something more serious or a gremlin.

Nobody was ever notifed other then if they hauked the internet to even know they had a chance for the second chance race!!!!!
My Old man never got any information telling him he was invited to the second chance race, He went onto Raceways site like 2 weeks ago to look threw the up coming schedule and THEN noticed his name was on the list. Had raceway park contacted PPL I think there DEF would have been a bigger turn out. I know if he would have had more then days notice he would have been there!!!!!!

Yea, the turnout was definatly light.. not many cars at all.. they combined b1 and b2 and then b3 and b4. They even gave us 3 time shots.. I lost in the semi's and the final went off at like 2pm.. I figured it was just memorial day weekend that screwed the event up.. The weather was awesome, not real hot at all..

What was the Outcome??? Who Won, Time, MPH, Car?? LoL
As you can tell I didn't go Opted to stay in the garage and do some of my own work.

I believe e-town set out a email to the yahoo group, no???

Guy in a tubbed out red 82ish cavalier won B3-B4, he was running like 10.20's and a guy in yellow 53ish Bel-air won B1-B2, he was running like 9:30's i think.. They gave the tix to the winners and runner up's.. grrrr.. I was really disgusted at that point as i literally threw my last round away, i picked a red bulb.. BAD.. haha guy i lost to went 12.54 on a 12.30 dial and my junk was within .03 all dam day.. Dude who lost the one final ( a white stang ) had to be pissed off too.. he was .0xx all day on the tree and his car was stuck on 10.16.... till he got his bye run and went 10.11.. he changed his dial to 10.11 and lost the final going 10.16.. Dooohhhhh.. LOL

chris from cjm chassis was in the cavalier and joe Focarino was in the 52 chevy. and etown did send emails to the people, and it was on the site for 2 weeks. they also said they got 250 people that rsvp'd and still didn;t show.

Sorry I forgot to check back to this thread LoL
I take back my words about the no responce cause I went home and asked him if he was checking the yahoo account and he said no he forgot all about it cause It was created just for the Pink application. The list came out to late for him cause the car is completely stripped to Nothing But Again Sorry for that statement I was wrong

I So Should have took the ride to check out the outcome but I got caught up in garage work and no one els I knew was racing so I just said .... It I guess the turn out was maybe due to the Holiday weekend ?!?!?! Strange though that so many rsvp'd and didn't show!!!!
Congrats to those who won

i was there and 1 time run car started running lean, fixed it and got back in line about 10seconds late. last car in b3 was going down the track and the dick running tthe lanes was like sorry your late and turned his back on me. only cost me about 400 total to be there and this little dick can't let me run............shit happens i guess lol
