Does any have a schematic of how to wire a transbrake? I bought a used trans and it already had a brake on it so Im not sure what kind it is. It has 2 wires coming out of it, 1 is connected to the trans, Im guessing ground, and the other isnt connected to anything. I have a Cheatah shifter and want to use the button on the shifter and that has 2 wires coming off it as well. I know I have to use a relay, but not sure how to hook everything up.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Transbrake wiring?
how about a little more info? are you using a delay box? plan on running it through a 2 step module? or a Igniton Sytem with built in 2 step? or do you plan on leaving on the convertor?. or is it a stick car? this will help you out http://www.msdignition.com/pdf/8739_8737_frm22502.pdf if your not using a 2 step or limiting device its straight foreward hot to one side of your micro switch then other to the hot side of your trans brake solenoid the one most likely hanging. hope this helps you out.

Re: Transbrake wiring?
This is how I did it... works like charm... But I did not include the optional On Switch...
