I am buying a New Shifter Friday and i am not sure what to get. I looked on summitracing.com and they didn't have all to much of a selection, not that i seen anyway.

I have a Lentech AOD Transmission with 3500 stall nitrous converter

I have a B&M Hammer Shifter in the car right now (for sale 100$)

Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of shifter i should get? I want something with a with a trans break button bc in time i hope to have a break in the car. It doesn't have a break right now...but one day.

I been looking at the Pistol Grip style quarter stick type shifters....they seem nice.

Shifter has to work in a AOD....and it would be nice if the shifter would also work in a C4 b/c once this AOD blows up on me im going with a C4 in my car.

Also, if anyone can suggest a place i should buy it...im all ears. Theres so many different companies out that supply performance parts....who's pricees are the fairest?

I want to buy this shifter once...and be done with it, i dont want to ever have to worry about a shifter again. So im buying it once....and being done with it. I dont care if the shifters expenisve, cheap...whatever. I just want a solid shifter.....that i never have to worry about again as far as shifters goes. So if i have to dish out 300-325$ for one...who cares.

If any one has any suggestions please let me know! Im buying one friday....All suggestions are Greatly appreciated! Also let me know where you shoppy shop for your stuff at

Thanks so much!
Qwik

I used to rum a B&M Pro Stick, and I think i would be the one that would work best for you. To change shift patterns, all you need to do is change the gate plate on the shifter. They're available from B&M, and probably Summit. I used gate plates for a 3 speed auto, one for forward pattern and one for reverse, and I also had one for a two speed reverse.
