250 shot and dual plane intake issues

Has anyone run a 250 shot on a dual plane intake? I was told anything over a 150 shot and you will have problems. Its a big block chevy with an oval port performer rpm intake. I have it running 180 shot with no problems at all and want to step it up to a 250. Thanks

on a bbc you will need to use a duel plane split plate like nx or a zex perimiter plate or at a 1.5 " open spacer
