HOT
weather did not stop the crowds from coming to Raceway Park and checking out the Night of Thrills show.
Featured were Jet cars, top fuel cars, funny cars, monster trucks, wheel standers, and a Tommy Trubble stunt jump at the end of the night!
I for one love these events (yeah, I'm a kid).. you don't often get to see such a mix of this kind of fun stuff all at once.. definitely bring your kids along to the next as these are family events
anyways, enough of me yapping.. here are the pictures. videos coming ASAP! this was the first time I ever shot top fuel up close.. those things shake the damn ground! they are definitely a photographic challenge, and only came by 4 times so was tough for me.

Trying to! I have the right equipment now as far as lighting goes so I am covered there -- think I need to make one lens change and I am good to go. I am having a good time so far this season that's all that matters
Also Dave Milcarek has given me some pointers trackside which I probably owe him a few cases of beer for.. and Mark has given me advice too to get me rolling. can't thank you folks enough
I am gonna upload big joe's vids in a lil bit -- half of them have me running for cover as the top fuel/jets go by

nice photos seth.. looks like you're getting the lighting down pretty good..
the top fuel dragsters are fun to shoot. there's no other feeling like standing 10 feet from a nitro car at full throttle
