Hey guys, it's my first post here. I'm looking to make my first trip down the quarter mile and I planned on going tomorrow, but it looks like it's going to rain most of the day. It looks like the rain is going to be pretty much out of the area by around 3 p.m., is there still a chance test&tune will be run tomorrow?

I might go and check it out if I feel like it.

Do everyone a favor though, not sure if you have studied up or not so don't take this the wrong way -- go and spectate for a little while to learn how to stage properly, and just remember always pay attention to the track officials. A lot of people on the street car nights that have never been there before waste time by not knowing how the tree works

Lol, my dad had a 68 camaro running 10's at englishtown in the mid 90's and we go to the Summernations every year so I'm not that much of a noob. Only problem I think I'll have is learning how to hook on street tires with an M6.

lol thanks. I hope to pull off at least a 2.2 60 foot by the end of the night, but I think I should be more realistic and be happy with a 2.3-2.4. I'll find out tomorrow as long as it doesn't rain just how hard these 60 ft times are to get in the high 1.XX range.

Well my electric cutout showed up today so I decided to mess around with the exhaust instead of heading to the track. I think next thursday will be the day that I finally get down there.
