PINKS--my take , some thanks, etc.
What an event!!!
It was so cool meeting many members from GDR.
I think at one time there was about 10 GDR members just hanging out at my spot and talking and we are all like "this is rskelly" or "hi i'm iceman"--was just funny to hear everyone introduce themselves like that.

Honkifpartsfalloff
Cheviac
And a couple others
All you guys and gals are very cool and hopefully the gdr racers that needed parts and help from me I was able to help.
Ok a big thanks to all the people that helped me survive the weeked with racing AND selling:
My wife--Jackie first and foremost--she ran that spot like a champ while I was racing or in the lanes--she did an awesome job and was super busy on Saturday--the spot was banging with customers and friends and with all that going on it does get a little nuts.
My father-in-law Bob--having him there watching from diff angles so nothing walks is so important--and he loves taking that money!!-lol
My friend/customer Pete--once again--just another set of eyes and hands always great to have for the super busy times.
Yellowstanggirl--April--for pinching in when she got the "call"
To all the people and racers that bought something from us and to anyome i was able to help stay racing this weekend--THANKS!!
I feel we did a nice job of having the parts that the racers needed--and I even pulled a bunch or parts from my own trailer that i keep extras of to help some teams.
And everyone that did ANYTHING for me and my team this weekend--THANK YOU!!!
We did notice that once again the PINKS crew is very "clicky"--did not come around and get the crowd going but made sure they went to their buddies trailer and hang out. They did this at Maple Grove also--drove right past us and turned the other way-- I guess my car and spot and professionalism is not what they want to see--just don't know.
All in all a very good weekend even tho i was to slow for quick 8 and too fast for the field--lol

Thanks for the mention Harry. Always like to help out wherever I can even though I'am not mechanically inclined. It was nice to see you mention me. I also had a great time. I learned a lot from the customers asking for certain items and from some of their questions. The PINKS camera crew , from my several walkings around the pits, seemed to concentrate on cars that were not so polished or professionally done. From the crew not stopping by and interviewing your car and family, they missed out on a professionally completed car and business that could in the short run would have attracted more customers your way. Thank Jackie for me for her guidance, and dinner. It was ALL IN, ALL OUT and ALL GOOD. It was a good experience. See ya .

And that was just it--I think we had about 75%-80% of the racers that broke covered--some stuff you just can't predict and even think that it would break--hell I even pulled stuff from my own personal stuff for my race car to help people.
And I didnt make the all out but a guy needed a window net or they werent gonna let him race in the 16 so i gave him the one from my car--well sold it to him--so at least a piece of my car will be on the show!!!
My wife was like "what the hell are you doing?"--I said "this is the PINKS "parts car""

No problem Mike. We're all there to help each other if we can!
We had a great time despite the heat and would definitely do it again if Pinks returns to e-town. Maybe next time we won't have any issues with the trans.
