02 blowthrough mass air meter on foxbody

I have a blowthrough from an 02 gt..bought the pigtail adapter to fit my 88lx..it is calibrated to 60lb injectors.Would I be able to use this?..are the newer mass air meters different besides the plug?..I've been getting different answers on this.thanks
