Nice! Congrats and good luck. It's always fun racing yourself and trying to break into that next second!! Then you realize how much one second can cost! lol

Yeah, that shift is gonna take some practice at the track. I get nervous as it is, let alone, trying to remember to shift. It'll come though. Thanks for the encouragement. Hope to have more vids after my day at CCD on the 13th.

Put a good shift kit in . I swear by Transgo . 4 years on my high mileage aod, that with a decent converter . you gain alot. also get a good trans cooler.
I leave my Car in Drive.

I was told he has a shift kit in it already. I don't know the brand though. Apparently, the previous owner who had the motor and tranny rebuilt about 36 k ago, installed a shift kit. I have on my list of goodies to get, a converter and trans cooler. That will prob happen next year.
Right now, need to get my subframe connectors welded in AND get my pullies.

I'm glad Transgo worked for you, but you have to be very careful with them. Unfortunately their tolerances on quality control aren't as close as they should be, and this has caused failures. Clearly you got one of the good ones. Several of my friends and customers have not...

Sweet car, Brenda! Reminds me of when I first got my '98 and it was stuck right around the same ET for a little while until I hit it with the next round of mods...
What's that car weigh? I'm thinking maybe it's time for some weight reduction/suspension mods since I don't see them on the list. That combo never hurts ET on a Mustang...

Current race weight is 3260. Just had full length subframe connectors done and will be doing pullies next weekend as well as removing smog pump and a/c. I think thats all the mods I'm doing this year. Winter time..hope to get her painted.
Here's my latest best et on 9/17/08. Yeah yeah, I red lighted...lmao

Well, went racing today and achieved my goal for 08. I set out to get into the 13's by the end of 08. Starting from 15's to my best run of today as 13.873 @ 101.04. What a great day!

2nd best

And yes, it was FREEZING at Cecil today! Shewey!!! I'll get some vids up sometime this week. Amazing that pullies and removing the smog and ac can make that much of a difference. Previous best was 14.2.
