I am a big fan of the class, use to race the nhra divisionals and may be looking for a new adventure in my racing career.
1. what have you put into your cars to run the index, i understand there are slower indexes which may cost less but i would like to shoot for 850.
2. What are your cost for the weekend?
3. Do they only race during the week or are there 850 races on the weekends?
Thanks in advance for the answers
what is it costing you to run the 8.50 index

Re: what is it costing you to run the 8.50 index
There are a ton of variables for putting a per day price on it......N/A, nitrous refills, etc.
Cecil races on Saturday, Atco is now on the weekend but is usually Thursday night, and E-town is Friday night. Check out their sites for specifics.
I run an SBC with a little nitrous. Some guys run BBC either N/A or with just a touch of nitrous. You can spend a little or you can spend a lot.

Re: what is it costing you to run the 8.50 index
it depends on how many tracks you go to. i just run cecil and there entry fee is 60.00 to race. i have a 3 gallon fuel cell and last race i made it to the finals on 5 gallons of gas and 4 bottles topping just one bottle off i get 2 quailfying pass on one bottle, so hope that helps, but everybodies car is different
