Re: WTB 440 MOPAR BLOCK
A friend selling............
I have a complete 440 with a casting date of 9/15/71 for sale.
I pulled it from a running 1972 chrysler station wagon that had 72K miles.
The motor is complete from 4bbl carb to pan and exhaust manifolds. Its missing a bolt here and there and also the A/C compressor and brackets. Basically its a complete long block.
As said, It was running BUT one freeze out plug is popped.I found the popped plug and it was very brittle. There is no visibile evidence of a crack on the block.
The car the motor was in was parked right on the water front and was badly beat up by the salt water and air.
The car Ran BUT I would rebuild the motor just for the sheer fact of it sitting for so long.
I have it in my garage for 4 years now and I need it gone.
Looking to get $600 or BO. IT MUST be picked up!
And IT MUST GO!!!
