Looking too upgrade my plate I am using now, ( Super power shot 175 hp max). I was going to use NOS Cheater (up to 250 hp), but I've been reading about the Zex Perimiter Plate. Any pros or cons to this plate vs. the std spray bar? Any help would be helpful.

Thanks, Chris S.

NX gemini twin 6 plate without the bars is a great plate. adjustble from 50-300hp and wont break the bank like speedtech and steve johnson stuff. but if money is no issue i'd go with a speedtech plate

Steve Johnson is the only place to go for your nitrous stuff! no one will give you the 1 on 1 support and knowledge like Steve will.Tell him Mike Pyott told you to call.As far as "breaking the bank " I disagree, he is not the "cheapest" but I there is ALOT of "cookie cutter" systems out there with little or no support. Not the case with Steves systems!

Zex Perimiter Plate is the way to go dollar by dollar, http://www.zex.com/Base/Video/ZEXPlate_WEB.wmv, and It work better than a bar system. But if you have the money, go with Steve Johnson or Speedtech system, that is your final uprade.

I'd have to call Monte Smith or Steve Johnson for a plate. Either one will give you all the tech help you will need. Steve just did my intake. One of our local guys had Monte do his. Both turned-out awesome. You get what you pay for. Deal with one of these guys now, your wallet will be much happier! :)

Thanks! I hope to get it in the 8's just for the fun of it this year! I will only be using the plate for the 10.0 Index Racing (20-50hp shot depending on the weather).

I won't be using the plate and the direct port together. I have the DP on there to run fast when I have time to play. The plate is there for a few extra ponies in the summer time to run the 10.0 Index stuff. I just got a set of 60 lb/hr injectors to replace the 43 lb/hr's that are on there now. The 43's were only good for a 150hp shot. The 60's will be good for awhile. :) I can always run the plate wet (have done in the past with the 175-200 hp shot) so if I really want to, I can hit it with a lot, more than I have convertor for though! :( The Weldon pump can certainly keep-up with the motor.
